Graduation Requirements

Students must complete the required online research ethics course.

Students must satisfy at least one of the following language requirements:

Graduation Foreign Language Score Requirements

* The departmental foreign language examination is held twice a year. Detailed schedules will be announced separately. The examinations are generally expected to take place in February and August each year.

Eligibility
Students must have completed at least 18 credits and earned a cumulative grade average of B0 or higher.
Examination subjects
Three subjects designated by the department.
Passing requirement
Students must receive a score of 70 or higher out of 100 in each subject.

TRACK A
Coursework Track
30credits or more

Complete at least 30 credits.

TRACK B
Thesis Track
24credits + thesis

Complete at least 24 credits and submit a thesis.

* Thesis-track students must complete the 3-credit course Research Ethics and Research Project (연구윤리 및 연구과제).

Regardless of whether students choose the Coursework Track or the Thesis Track, their completed credits must meet the following requirements:

Max 3
Courses classified as 기초공통 (Basic Common Courses): A maximum of 3 credits may be counted.
Min 6
Courses classified as 전공공통 (Major Common Courses) and 기초공통 (Basic Common Courses): A combined total of at least 6 credits must be completed.
Min 9
Courses classified as 전공심화 (Advanced Major Courses): At least 9 credits must be completed.

 

Max 6

Courses classified as 부전공 (Minor Courses): A maximum of 6 credits may be counted.

Students must satisfy all other graduation requirements prescribed by the university and the department, as specified in the relevant announcements.

For example, students must complete all mandatory education programs required by the university, including sexual harassment prevention education and violence prevention education.
